WE ARE A 4,000+ STRONG COLLECTIVE BASED IN AFRICA, COLLABORATING WITH GLOBAL PARTNERS OF CONSCIENCE. TOGETHER, WE CREATE A MORE SECURE WORLD THROUGH RESPONSIBLE DATA, AI AND INTERNET PRACTICES.
Our mission is to uphold the fundamental human rights and psychological well-being of tech workers around the world, while diligently safeguarding the internet and AI from harm (disinformation, hate speech, violent or graphic imagery, child exploitation, harassment, and scams). By addressing these interconnected challenges, we enable tech professionals to contribute to the growth and security of the digital economy in Africa, with confidence and enthusiasm.
Techworker Community Africa is an NGO, as well as a for-profit data agency, aimed at nurturing a more human tech industry. We believe that all workers, particularly those based in Africa, working at the forefront of AI and content moderation, deserve to feel safe, informed, and supported in their roles.

OUR OBJECTIVES
TechworkerCommunityAfrica.org (TCA) is a community of support focused on bridging technology, advocacy, and social impact. Our organization aims to cultivate mutually beneficial partnerships by empowering, and supporting tech workers through an equitable exchange of labor.
We are both a tech agency and a newly-formed NGO dedicated to protecting the rights of tech workers in Kenya and across the continent. Through our NGO, we offer a civic education, psychological support, and training to enable workers at to for safe place of work, advance their careers, and contribute to community development at the local and global level.
